pepper + mint by summerfield

pepper + mint

these tiny chili peppers came with the tiny tomatoes in yesterday's photo of the tiny tomatoes. i showed the lady the photo and she was quite chuffed she asked if she can post it on her facebook page. i gave her permission.

today i saw my herb planters outside my kitchen window teeming wild. the mints, basil and rosemary were growing like crazy and some have crept up the brick wall. i can't keep up with those plants, i keep trimming them and they just keep growing, you'd almost think they're possessed. so this evening i trimmed them again. holy cow even the persils were growing like crazy. i'll be giving some to my friend who likes mint leaves. the rosemary and basil will be stored in the freezer for winter cooking. thank goodness, partner eats the persils like peanuts!

thank you for your kind visits and comments; i appreciate them greatly.
@bill_fe - are these jalapenos? they're too small, these are no more than an inch! thanks.

@summerfield Thanks. Fantastic photo too. How did you get such a great white background?

I like mint too. It grows like wildfire in my d-I-l's garden too. She takes it and makes mint "tea" by washing it and then letting it steep in boiling water for a while. Very yummy! Love the white background and crisp veggies!

i used a white tablecloth, with LED lamps on both sides and the softbox in front. then i processed it in ribbet taking the exposure highlight level to 78. is all. can i do something like that in photoshop? the problem with these free programs is that the photo is reduced too such a small size that it's always a problem to print. if i can do this in PSE, i can process it from raw.

@bill_fe - thank you, bill.

@olivetreeann - thank you, ann.

The composition and white background are just lovely. Love the play on words for the title. I was going to ask what persil was as I'd not heard of it before. I see you have already answered that question.
