we were supposed to have young jack last weekend and i was all poised to take monday off (yesterday) to bring him to the islands, then take today off to recuperate. but the schedule became all muddled up and jack didn't come and i was left wondering what i could do the two days i'm off. so i went to the toronto centre island this morning and took photos around. the plants and flowers were all in the midst of withering and decaying but today was quite pleasant. i was surprised i didn't need a coat whilst roaming around. i even got to walk in the water when i found a little corner in the beach with really clear and clean water. took in fresh air without being annoyed by seagulls. not a lot of sailboats though.
for the mad hatters' 'classical theme. "air" or suite no. 3 in D by johann sebastian bach is one of my two most favourite classical tune, the other being "etude in E" by frederic chopin.
thank you for your kind views and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
This is so peaceful and pretty. Sorry your plans fell through, but any day off from work, out in nature is a good one I'd think. I think I know that particular classical piece..I love it too.
nothing I love more than a blank spot in calendar created by crossing off stuff that had been planned (after I get over the initial flurry of upset, of course)
I just came back to view this and I now have the time to listen to your choice for music. Love the music too, very relaxing. I also like the reflection of the clouds in the water. I also viewed on black and noticed your very subtle watermark too.
