i'm in a funk these days. maybe it's the holidays; i've seen it happen to some of the people i've known in my over 20 years here in toronto. most got out of it fine, a few others never. add the fact that we are busy at work, soooo busy. i'm supposed to be off from the 18th until the 7th, but it seems i can't take my days off. i have too many things to do but so little time.

If you were in a serious accident you would immediately stop everything and not even care! The work would get done , or not, and life would still go on! I know from personal experience. Let it go! your perspective is laudable but it needs to change just a bit!
Hello @summerfield I am your new partner for Get Pushed this week (12/13)! I've been enjoying looking at all of your photographs. I think this week I would like you to capture RELAXING/RELAXED, regarding yourself. That could mean an environment you feel relaxed in or it could be more along the lines of the way you feel when relaxed, or even what relaxes you. Really any way you interpret it. I hope it will inspire you to take that break that you need to rejuvenate your spirit. Not sure what your religious situation is but I believe God gave us the seventh day off because it's important to our well being... we NEED that break and I think it sounds like you really, really deserve it! I hope you have a good time with this challenge!
I like the simple elegance of this... I'm in a major funk as well... Christmas always feels like one obligation after another... I don't seem to enjoy it at all... And crazy busy at work here too... Sigh...
