i hope everyone had a nice new year's celebration. i spent the night packing my suitcase. partner made reservations at the holiday inn in niagara falls so we're back again here. my stepson is staying with us along with little ivy jean and young jack. but i am fighting a sinus infection that is making me so sluggish because of the medication. it's horrible here, really fierce winds but snow is predicted either tomorrow or saturday so i just might get some snow scene. then sunday we climb up to plus 8 degrees celcius in the morning then down to minus 10 in the evening. no wonder a lot of people go crazy because of the damn weather.

@oreos808 - orianha, sorry this comes late. i captured this at the subway station. see my explanation above. reading is one of my happy places and it relaxes me no doubt, so i assume this lady, is so engrossed in her reading that she let a couple of trains pass. she was still there when i boarded my train - i was on the other side of the track so i was going the opposite direction. i have another shot in mind and i will post it here as soon as i have it. thank you for your patience.
Great composition. I think I'd prefer b&w for this. subways seem to be gritty and well suited to b&w. I hope you feel better soon. Maybe she's waiting for someone.
@aurorajane - thank you, aj. most of our subway stations are very clean. even the exchange stations are pretty clean for the most part even though they get more riders.
