last friday, i received a greeting card from the grandchildren in calgary, alberta. it was a very nice card with nice sentiments, personally written by the boys themselves. enclosed were a pair of earrings and a necklace with a heart pendant, with ruby stones. it's nice to know we don't only miss them but they also miss me and partner a lot. they're always asking when we will come for a visit.
i will certainly have to book a flight to calgary to visit them. but partner thinks the boys must be missing toronto and their friends and cousins here so i may end up sending them airfare for them to come and visit instead.
thank you for your visits and kind comments. also a big thank you for your generous favs on my 'witching hour' photo; i was surprised to have seen it on pp the whole day saturday. the gestures are greatly appreciated.
the heart pendant comes out on the pink side of red no matter how much i process the bloody thing on photoshop and ribbet. strange.
Oh the sentiment is just so lovely, you are so very special to them. (& us for that matter) beautiful shot colour will always do its own thing;0)

Maybe you can get a special price for bringing grandees to you - its much better enjoying their company in your own home! I find it very difficult to photograph jewellery. These are rather gorgeous!
I'm not sure why they won't photograph as red- but they still came out so nicely and what a great gift to have received. Sounds like you'll be having some company when school is out. And I agree with Bill- don't stop!!
