industrial spigot by summerfield

industrial spigot

from the gallery at the distillery district in downtown. they have on display the old machinery used when the complex used to be the largest distillery in north america.

i'll be posting industrial type photos this week in monochrome. at least that's the challenge i've posed to myself.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.

sorry for the lack of commenting as i still have visitors and i need to attend to them, and be creative as to where i should take them to get them entertained.
Love the focus on the gear and all the built up grease and grime.

So glad you are still taking time out to get photos even with a busy schedule due to visitors. I like the sepia processing here.
How do you like your new camera so far?

@summerfield I had the same issue, different ways to do the same thing on the old camera.

Very nice gadget! Interesting challenge you have set for yourself....I guess that's how we all learn! It reminded me of the time I bought my first brand new car with manual transmission without knowing how to drive manual!! I figured that would be the only way to learn, and learn I did while stalling the car repeatedly! ;-))) You must be taking your relatives to some fun places that are worth photographing...
