the redpath sugar mill

you should be familiar with this sight as i have posted quite a few of this view over my five years here on 365. i always make it a point to take a photo from my boss' office just to record the activities going around the lake, the weather, especially the clouds. today, what attracted me were the numerous sailboats. i'm guessing that is part of the pan am games that's going on around toronto. later on there were more sailboats and some colourful larger boats. i intended to walk down by the lake at lunchtime but for some reasons i ended up at the mall.

the self-imposed challenge for the next little while is 'industrial' but i have a rather engaging orchid posting over at the mad hatters' album as i continue to fill in their wednesday spot. see http://365project.org/madhatters/365/2015-07-15

I dont know if that is cane or beet sugar, but where I grew up in Wyoming, sugar beets were a huge part of the local farming

@bill_fe - i know for a fact they are sailboats. :-) colour so you can appreciate the mural of the dolphins on the left and the water to show he boats' movement. trust me! :-D
