i've watched that ugly building go up from ground to where it's at now, for about a gazillion years. it's not part of that old brown building which houses the tax/government offices. it's across the road on the east side. i think it's going to be a combination of offices and condos. it looks like a submarine that's been hurled from somewhere and ended on its one end. a lot of people like it, i find it ugly. maybe because i come from another era or another planet. now, take me to your leader.

Some day, when that brown building is torn down ( and it will be) you will have yourself a fascinating historical shot! In the meantime I agree with your assessment and description!
It certainly looks out of place as well as ugly. I hate the glass buildings even though some are quite beautiful. I just have to wonder just how many dead birds are found around these buildings as the birds see reflections and try to fly through them.
@summerfield That's a question for Ross, I'm afraid. I find it odd that some of mine have been (very briefly) on PP, then others, I find odd that they didn't make it. Maybe it's got to do with the number of views, and the overall number of people on 365 at the time it becomes popular.
Looks like they were trying to copy that overly rich place in ??? Is it Dubai? I always forget the name but it seems like every building that goes up there is trying to outdo the one before it.
Not my favorite modern skyscraper, but it will do! On the other hand, the jogging girl you captured looks pretty good.....I may go look for a similar outfit! Seriously, I love the juxtaposition!
