it was like the city of a million lights - the landscape below glittered with what looked like golden holiday lights and stretched for miles and miles. the buildings of downtown chicago though is barely visible in the darkness beyond. at almost nine o'clock, traffic was still horrendously heavy.
this is for today's one night stand assignment which is low light. i am out of toronto and relying on hotel wi-fi signal, which as many of you only know too well is kind of iffy all the time.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Oh how fabulous! I remember the one time I flew over Chicago at night and could see all those fabulous lights and then nothing on the very edge of the lake! And my camera was in my carry-on baggage somewhere where I couldn't get it so I never got the shot! That was the last time I put my camera in my luggage.... now I wear it around my neck! This is a very impressive image to get it so well!
Hi. I'm your get pushed partner this coming week. I know that you like poetry. My favourite poem is by William Blake: Auguries of Innocence. The first verse, from memory, is:
To see the world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold the Universe in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
Would you like to make an image that illustrates this?
To see the world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold the Universe in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
Would you like to make an image that illustrates this?
