an old gothic style building reflected on the glass walls of the mt. sinai hospital.
"life is not about looking back and wishing that today was the same as the past. life is about moving on, accepting changes and looking forward to what makes you stronger and more complete. because it's never been too late to have a life and never too late to change one."
sorry, too tired to think of anything wise to say today. had two doctors' appointments today, a menopause specialist and a psychiatrist. my good friend asked me, "aren't you embarrassed to tell people you're seeing a shrink? people might think you're insane." i said, "i'm seeing him now so i'd know how to deal with my problems. what's the point of seeing a shrink when you're already insane?" something to ponder about, huh?
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated. insane or not.
An interesting building in the reflection. I think it's good to talk about things and often you need someone who is unbiased and who will call it as they see it. There's such a stigma attached to psychiatrists and many are ashamed or embarrassed to admit that they have consulted one.
