shells

when we were in puca beach in boracay island, i bought quite a few shell bracelets. well, i was forced to. about five or six vendors would swarm you, once you touch to admire one vendor's wares. it's a sign of interest, no matter how small. then the others would force their wares on you as well, hoping you'd prefer to buy from them. i only wanted to buy a bracelet for my italian friend, but in haggling, the other vendors would offer a slightly lower price. i ended up buying five shell bracelets, one from each vendor. for a measly $3 each, i felt so guilty not giving business to the others. what to do?

then belatedly, i saw this bracelet made of really tiny shells strung together. i ended up buying it for myself. i thought i had better make me happy first. $18 canadian was my final purchase. c'est la vie.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.

Terrific shot of your newest accessory! It is so difficult to want to help everyone and not have the means to do that.Be happy knowing that you made a difference in a few lives and that's all anyone can do.

They are very pretty and look quite delicate. Sounds like you got quite a bargain getting them all for $18 Canadian.

Every little bit helps and actually those little bits go a long way for them I guess. It's a pretty little bracelet and worth the trade I think!
