my friend rita @barneyone should be able to tell me what flower this is. it's purplish with dark purple veins and lines in it. there was a butterfly but a stranger woman came up to me and asked for me to take her photograph with the flowers behind. so the butterfly flew away and this is all that i got.
the woman had a very thick east european accent. she was a little bit of a control freak as she was telling me to make sure to take her picture this way and that way and when i told her the overhead sunlight is not quite flattering on her face, she told me it's how she likes it and just take the photo. it was the ugliest photo i've taken in my whole life and good thing it was her iPhone and not my camera or that would have been a waste of my shutter actuation. then she complained to herself but loudly that it's not a very nice photograph, asked me how and where she should stand to get a better photo and by that time, i was too hot being in the sun and i was too pissed to take an ugly photo of a stranger with the most unflattering nose.
Bad experience, beautiful flower. No good deed goes unpunished! I'm in agreement with the others that this is a petunia that you have captured so beautifully even if the bee left
