poor bob! in his quest to prove that he is old enough to become a lawyer, he leaves the royal bank plaza where the law offices of never right fullosheet is situated and goes through the union station, past the CN tower and on to the harbourfront where he stops to have a cinnamon sugar beaver tail pastry then proceeds to the boardwalk to see what's going on around there this evening.
but since it's august and the weather is so warm there are a lot more people there than ever. but he sees the tallship "empire sandy" and thinks he would go and nose around the tallship. on his way though, he encounters a large group of people all dressed in white or beige and he is sure it is for some kind of a party, perhaps a wedding although he does wonder why everyone would be wearing white. he finally finds the answer, that it is for a cruise around the lake and everyone is encouraged to wear white, like these folks.
bob is happy just observing the people, but when he's had enough observing them and their endless fascination for portraits of themselves, he starts to head out to the tallship. in his excitement, he becomes disoriented when he almost gets pierced by that lady's high heels, narrowly missing his head. he runs and does not stop, not knowing where he is going. when he comes to, the buildings do not look familiar and he is unable to guage where is. luckily, grandmere finds him and rescues him from that little melee.
Oh Bob. I am so sorry you had such a harrowing experience. You do look dangerously close to those piercing high heels. One wonders how safe they could be on a boat too. Judging by the name of your lawyer company you may want to find work somewhere else too.
My first thought was, "Yes, that dress/out-fit makes you look fat". The second was TMI. The third was "Blue suede shoes! Who knew they were still around!" Then, "Cute sundress- I could never wear those heels, but they do look good with the dress." And then I finally got around to Bob- I am certain he would not want me to be taking care of him!! Glad you're safe and sound now Bob!
Priceless commentary! I suppose when that gussied up, it's nice to have lots of photos to remember the occasion! Also, they're young. Speaking from experience, they won't look as good 50 years from now, so get 'em for the memories!
