on cold winter nights, the empty streets of the city make for a daunting drive. the street lamps cast eerie shadows everywhere - of trees, of stray critters, and at times, of ghosts. pay attention, but not too much. for if you fix your gaze at something that may not be there, who's to say what happens next? beware the cold winter night...

shout out to my model; we went photographing around the legislative building. i was going to post this in colour, but the eeriness of the shot comes out in this processing, i know model wouldn't have it any other way, but trust me the umbrella is red.
This works so well!!! How did your foggy shots come out? I've got a couple I kinda like... might post one for today.... saving the steps shot for px...
You are such a capable story-teller, and always so beautifully capture the photo to go with your words! This really draws me in...a feeling of suspense, and a tipping point when something unexpected might happen!
@summerfield I figured it was Northy! She was an excellent model, and your story was a tight one! You won't need "Luck" with those pecans! Super simple... You'll love them!
So much mood and atmosphere in this - great work Vikki. Great song too and it may be be that I haven't heard it since 1956 when it was a hit, but I remember it well... scary thought!
