gourmet shapes

will you believe me if i tell you these are chocolate truffles? you won't?

well, they are chocolate truffles, left over from last Christmas. i know my friend the northster would lodge a protest for this sacrilege act of 'daniel's chocolatier' and i would gladly join her!

the aquamarine multi-faceted piece is called 'calamansi citrus ganache'. the gold round one is called 'tequila sunrise' and i'm not even going to find out how it tastes. the heart-shaped is sea salt soft caramel; the rectangular shaped piece with white circles is a raspberry ganache; and the one with gold lines is a coffee infused ganache.

not sure if i would actually eat them. first of all i want my chocolate to have the colour of chocolate. aquamarine is not a colour for a gourmet chocolate truffle. the coloured ones i will eat and enjoy is m&m's.

anyone who cares for these? i can send them to you! :-P

Those both look and sound delicious! I would have no problem eating them. I used to love white chocolate and especially white lindors but now I find it very sweet. Eat mostly dark chocolate these days.

I love every kind of chocolate, except maybe chocolate covered insects. This is beautiful to me, but overkill, chocolate is already art.

OH DEAR... I'm running late and I fear they're gone already! Are you kidding that you wouldn't eat these?!!! We went to a wedding recently where everyone got a small box of the likes of these. Believe me, when they're in your mouth and you no longer see the colour, they're a slice of heaven!!! AND they make a gorgeous picture!
