played hooky this morning from work and went to check out the cherry blossoms at high park. i found out yesterday that this is the last week to see the blossoms. they peaked last sunday, and after the rain yesterday and high winds last night, it's a must to go there right away. too bad the clouds were low and gray and the sky didn't clear until the afternoon. i had thought of going back but i was happy with my shots and i was pretty sure that it would've been more crowded than this morning.
saw this gentleman when i was about to leave; got photobombed though by the lady in yellow coat. but at least she matched the painter's coat.
This all works so beautifully! I suppose if I was a painter, I'd have the need to get out there and paint, but ['m glad I make photographs....and before long I'm back inside and cozy! Nicely done, and I think the lady in the matching coat works in exceedingly well!
I say crop the.......out! However as others have mentioned having her in the scene works too especially since she is so color coordinated with the artist
I think the phoobomber may have done you a favour. Maybe without her, the other figures in the background would be unwelcome, but with her, they take their place. And the colour link is perfect in the coats. The artist looks to be creating rather a good picture. I like yours too.
