in architecture, i thinks there's nothing more romantic than a series of the old fashioned fire escapes. this shot, for example, conjures in my head a picture of a young woman climbing down with her lover waiting on the ground, ready to run away and elope; or a face pressed upon the window pane sadly staring, hoping, waiting for a beloved to return. or tongues of flames licking the brick walls and a gallant firefighter rescuing a trapped individual, the firefighter's coat ripped showing flexed muscles, hard and....aherm! where was i? or the handsomely cool richard gere holding a bunch of store bought flowers climbing up to the top of the ladder with the smiling julia roberts waiting for him.
i think i like the vision of the firefighter, n'est-ce pas?
fitness challenge update: after yesterday's 15,850+ steps plus exercises and dancing, i'm back to #3 position overall. i figure if i probably would take a day off and just do nothing but walk and walk and walk and walk, i'd be able to catch up. just 40,000 steps to catch up. if it's not too hot on the weekend, i just might do that. i probably will be dead afterwards, but what the hey, eh?
I love all the patterns you captured in this half-and-half. It is truly spectacular. I also love all the images it conjured up. I have to greet with you I think the firemen was the best
Just hang in there with the exercise. You have to feel better just for doing it at all.
