i had all good intentions of doing a long photographic walk, along the harbour, downtown toronto, uptown toronto, east end, west end. but i ended up at the allan gardens. which was not a bad thing because they had a spectacular display of hydrangeas in all colours, height and varieties. too crowded though, especially that there was a large contingent of students of a photography class. never seen so many dslr's in one place at one time and it's not even the scott kelby photo walk! the students were mostly young ladies, and what do young ladies do when they're holding cameras? right! selfie!
210 photos later, and an additional 3,000 plus steps in my pedometer, i finally found my shot as i was already outside and leaving the premises to look for something to eat. that's the succulent section inside the conservatory.
week 20 (already???) of my 52 portraits of me and today's fare is 'reflection/s'. and there's the moi albeit covered by my camera.
fitness challenge update: sitting still at #3 but my short sojourn today netted me 16,700+ steps. no wonder i'm keeling over from tiredness!
