lurkers

this looks scary to me. for some reason, i see sinister shadows trying to get through to wreak some infernal havoc. but they're actually leaves of a very large tropical plant. this is another one from my sojourn at the allan gardens on the weekend. i was outside the hothouse and the afternoon sun was shining through the glass of the hothouse.

for the half and half challenge this month and for the black and white challenge, the theme of which is silhouettes.

want to play with the white balance on your camera? do that and save the best shots and join in on the fun with technique challenge. here's the lowdown: https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/29832/technique-challenge-72-white-balance

fitness challenge update: well, the competition didn't want to be upstaged so when i logged in this morning, i was sitting, albeit comfortably, on the #2 slot. 8,000 steps is what i have to overcome, apart from my daily steps. sort of do-able but it's really tiring me and i don't understand. except to say i am a lot older and the challenge simply does not conform to the old body.
(Laughing!) Funny how we can freak ourselves out over most anything if we let our minds get away with it! (When I watch a movie that I begin to find unsettling, I try to visualize the camera man filming the scene!
