Is this sea or lake? I cannot picture a lake this big if its not sea!!!
Love thius minimalism, is it how you would have shot it if not inspired by Mr Wanger?

@30pics4jackiesdiamond - this is lake Ontario, one of the "great lakes" between Canada and the US. we don't get to see the oceans unless we go to British Columbia in the west or the Maritime provinces in the east. this is fresh water and always very cold. scenes like this with the c!oud play in the sky, i always shoot, but i had the artist in mind so i didn't take a zoomed in shot of the boats, which is how i'd normally shoot. what i've found when i started doing artist challenges is that it gives me new appreciation of techniques employed in the shot as well as the whole landscape/scenery. thanks, lady.😘

Definitely lots of empty space.

Nice use of negative space. That low horizon really gives the awesomeness of space a BIG feel. Nicely done.

From what I saw of the artists work when I looked, this is spot on in simplicity and colouring and the use of space. I agree, it is great to spend a little time looking at things from a completely different way.
