pandora's box

24th saturday of the 52 portraits of me project; for this segment the challenge is "greek mythology".

i suppose it meant to portray one of those scandalous gods and goddesses. i chose the easiest one - because it's the only greek goddess i know apart from athena.

also, i deliberately used a green scarf and green beads. on the 24th week of the 52 week challenge, the artistic assignment is to use the colour green artistically.
The rays are definitely effective here!

And after all evils left the box, only Hope remained inside... As green is the color of hope this is a great job also in terms of symbolism.

In awe of all that effort and imagination. I wouldn't know where to begin with greek mythology (but then again, that didn't stop me getting involved in a group composition with my choir - greek mythology being the theme!) Great results.

A most excellent and inspired interpretation. A perfect illustration of what it must have been like for Pandora!
