still another shot from the toronto zoo trip with @northy. i was minding my own business photographing the colourful corals when suddenly, a pair of hands materialized holding a toothbrush! and at the exact moment that i had that weird sensation in my mind of "what if some human suddenly appeared here?" weird, hey?

i'm sure it's not a toothbrush, but something especially made to clean the ridges of the corals or whatever those are. it is shaped like a toothbrush with bristles like a toothbrush but has a tube connected to it that dispenses some cleaning stuff, most probably saline water.

one could write, or maybe i could, write a story about this. something sinister or creepy. or sexy even ;-P

gotta get to bed early, need to be out of the home by at least 5:30 to avoid traffic!

What an interesting thing to see. Wonder why the coral has to be cleaned in a controlled environment? What is lacking or is present to cause it to need the cleaning?

Funny timing! I had that happen at an aquarium too- but it was the whole person appearing not just the hands. I'd never realized the top of the displays were accessible to the biologists!
