i saw that quote on a poster at the bookstore. but it wasn't a picture of a brain but one of them famous actors. i'd have taken a photo of the poster but when i took out my camera from my purse, i was promptly told by the manager "please no photographs in the store". bah, humbug! otherwise i'd have a shot for today. 'tis a good thing i have this brain kicking around in my bookshelves so, it was a no-brainer (hahaha! d'you think the pun was intended or not?) that it would be my post for today.
quite happy with how this turned out. i started with a 5-second exposure and gradually adjusted ISO and shutter speed. if all sooc's turn out like this without adjustment in post, we're all going to be happy campers, aren't we?

chuffed that my rooftop shot won the artist challenge. now, i have to research and think who'd be the next featured photographer/artist. i suppose i'd need to use my over-used brain.
chuffed, too, that last saturday's post made it to the weekly final for theme-mirrors.

Do you know the joke of the family waiting for a brain transplant for an ill darling? A surgeon comes out and says: "Ladies, gents, we have two brains: a male's and a female's. Which one would you prefer?" One asks "What's the difference, doctor?" And the Doctor: "The male's costs 20,000, the female's 2,000". Even in the dire situation, all male chuckle. A girl takes courage and asks "Excuse me, Doc., why this BIG difference?" - and the Doctor "Darling, the male's is practically unused!"
