one goes in, one goes out

of the shadows. the light was beautiful today, clear blue skies and a fresh breeze bordering on a little cool. perfect fall day.

i had to take a break today from the hustle and bustle at work. we officially start our journey towards global synchronization and paperless environment. everything's been changed - file numbers, procedures to open files, time docketing. just when i've memorized all those numbers and felt in control of procedures, they change all the rules! for an old fogey like me, it is difficult. 'tis a good thing i am a year away from retiring.
