in all of my almost thirty years here in canada, i can remember only a handful of Christmas eves when there was a snowfall. tonight, it's so beautiful to look out the window and see all the lights muted by the heavy snowfall. anytime now, i might see the flying reindeers passing by my window. (or that pesky hawk might decide to camp out for the night in my balcony. it's the reason the pigeons are forever doing fly by's.) maybe i should get the brandy out just in case santa decides i had been good and might pass by. :-)
merry Christmas and happy Hannukah, as the case may be, to all my friends on 365!
Hi Vikki! Thank you so much for your lovely message! It's funny that you dropped by as I've been seriously thinking of starting again. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Speaking of snowfalls, I bought my daughter and her family all snowshoes for Christmas and they went trekking today. It looked so beautiful with all the fresh snow. (She's also in Ontario)
@bella_ss - i used my tennis rackets once as snowshoes, didn't get anywhere and ended up without tennis rackets. good thing it was winter and by the time spring rolled around, i bought me a new tennis racket. :-D
Merry Christmas, Vikki. I am sure you had the Brandy ready for Santa and that he enjoyed it very much. It must be nice to have a White Christmas. I think I have seen one, maybe two in my whole life.
Pretty decoration- we will be meeting up with Betsy and Christopher in KY. They are in Batavia with her family right now, we are at the Jersey Shore. No snow here- but the same snow that's falling by you has fallen in VT by my sister there. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year- yes a meet up is way overdue. Long story as to why it did not come to pass this Fall but water under the bridge now. See you in 2018!
May I ask you in which area of Canada you live?
Happy Christmas and New Year!
