wacky weather in toronto today. from the heavy rains last night with strong winds, the morning started with a calmness enveloped in a heavy fog. by noon, the sky almost cleared and the sun was shining brightly. then rain came in the mid afternoon and it was just plain damp. temps are supposed to drop down to -15 overnight tonight. that would bring some fun walking to the bus stop tomorrow if the pavements become icy and slippery. good thing i know how to walk like a penguin.
it was beautiful at lunch time with mild temps that i was energetic enough to take the subway almost uptown, took a streetcar to somewhere and decided to pass by the allen gardens and see what they have. too many people so i got a few shots right by the back door and hopped back on the street car, grabbed a bubble tea and rode the subway back to work.
quite a nice break from the tedious office work. well, there's just eleven months and nine days till retirement. if i make it through.... i reckon i'll be in a mental asylum the way work is making me crazy!
