it's flash of red february and the resident camera is set in monochrome for the month, just so i won't have to think in colour. it's amazing that this challenge is on its sixth year. how time flies!
for the first week, which is only four days, we're doing high key and/or low key. i couldn't decide if i should do low key this time as last year i did high key. but then after fooling around with lighting and background, i decided i will stick to what i know how to do best. so high key it is. although i inverted this in ribbet and it looked rather dramatique! ergo i reserve the right to change my mind tomorrow.
tagging this also for week five of the 52-week challenge. this week is photographer's choice. and my intent is i think rather obvious, i am shooting black and white for the month.
Great start Vikki! I was thinking of doing low-key as well and ended up with a similar conclusion for a different reason. I didn't feel like waiting for low-key conditions so I decided to set up my light box when there was no sun to help me out this morning. I like the way the light turns the details into an outline.
