purple or violet?

when all else fails, do an abstract.

and that's what i'm doing. i have nothing purple or violet in my household, except for a solid violet scarf which for the life of me i couldn't find (although the green scarf i've been looking for ages suddenly showed up!). and then this new scarf which my boss' wife got me during their holiday in new zealand was screaming at me from the coat closet. it is actually in varying shades of purple or violet with patches of deep blue, indigo and burgundy. i think the colour in the accompanying leaflet said its colours are closer to violet.

close to self-destruct already and i haven't even done red, orange nor yellow!

Violet is the elusive color on the scale, is it purple? Is it blue? Is it anything? Your scarf is lovely, whatever color it is.

I must be the exception to the rule, I have photographed my whole month except for a couple of days of blue and pink - this is my favourite colour and it looks to be a very pretty scarf
