a portion of the gate to the right of way passage. the chain is strictly for decoration. my friend painted the gate that she had built. she couldn't paint the fence on the right because it was put up by the neighbour. all she could do is hang her choice of decorations but not paint it. i like that i took quite a few shots of my friend's backyard last saturday.
finishing up my packing for my trip to san francisco tomorrow for my goddaughter's wedding. i dithered on what to wear, as her colour motif is red. but it's a formal wedding so i suppose i am excused if i'm wearing black because my red dress makes me look like an overstuffed wrap. :-P
again, i must apologize for my lack of commenting; i'll make up for when i come back or maybe there will be free wifi at the airport.
