the asterisk right next to the gate number and the occasional blinking of the first line, along with an announcement on the loudspeaker, all indicate that the train bound for ottawa, ontario in twenty-four minutes time, is on time and they're signals for the passengers to proceed tout de suite to the assigned gate. the "sold out" line is also blinking but i'm not sure if it pertains to the ottawa trip or the montreal trip. in any case, i wasn't going anywhere that schedule shows. i'm just going back to reality, i.e., work!
