a lofty situation

it was hot and humid at lunchtime and for a moment i felt stupid having chosen to go down to the lake after i had my lunch. i walked in the shade as much as i could and it was a bit comfortable. it was worth it though when i saw this guy up high on this light standard. my one regret was that i was too chicken to step on the road to get a better view and not have the light with the building in the background. but then it was a rather busy street and it would be a foolhardy move to have done that.

then i sat on a bench by the water and watched the sailboats and the planes as they came and went, sipping on my banana-pineapple smoothie.

A banana pineapple smoothie sounds like a perfect way to spend lunch time on a hot humid day! Not standing in the middle of the busy street also sounds like a brilliant idea. You got a great photo and that’s all that matters
