i brought my crystal ball with me to work yesterday, hoping i could go down to the lake at lunchtime. turned out i had a lunch appointment so that plan was scrapped. in the evening while working i turned around and noticed that the blue hour has started. everything seemed a-glow. it's hard to discern but the portion of the lake between the city and the islands were filled with ice floes and contrasted beautifully with the colours of the traffic. and what's more, i discovered that if i take a shot at a little bit higher angle, the whole ball filled with the scenery. here you can see the brookfield building on the left, and part of our building on the right. in the near front are the railroad tracks, the gardiner expressway, the Path sugar mill, the water with ice floes, and the islands.

the "cemeteries" theme is a little bit morbid but that is this week's theme of five plus two. 'tis a good thing the northster brought me to one of her haunts during our last outing of 2018. so come check us out https://365project.org/fiveplustwo/365/2019-01-23
Really well done!
