this is the view tonight as we dined in miss taffy's @taffyr dining room. domenico @domenicododaro along with his wife and daughter made a great dinner of scallop and salmon for all of us. it was fun watching the dodaro team in action.
while we enjoyed our stay, it was regrettable that miss taffy and her husband are summering at their cottage on beaver island, so they were actually hosting us in absentia. but of course, we know that there might be another opportunity for a meet up with them.

i took a lot of photos from the balcony, handheld as i forgot to bring my tripod. this i took through the glass window in the dining room. but it was fun to be shooting down without the hindrance of glass walls. all in all, it was a most enjoyable day (yet again)!
What a generous friend you have in Taffy. And who could not enjoy a dinner prepared Domenico style (after all , we have seen the pictures of his chef skills). What a fortunate bunch of photographers you all are. The view is tremendous
This is a wonderful night shot. Two things are surprising to me. 1 - the horizon is totally horizontal and even. 2- the town drops off the edge of a black void.
