every time i wanted and actually have the opportunity to photograph the rain, plans got foiled one way or another. then i've been wanting to photograph water in a more clever way, never mind the water crown, and water drops, and silky water -- done those already as has everyone else; and because water is the prompt for canon's 30-day challenge. then i was looking out at the weird sky this morning: mist and gray clouds blocked the rising sun but looking south there was a yellow strip of light spanning lake ontario. then i noticed as i looked out through the window pane, rain was battering at the glass. so, isn't that a good idea to show "water" with the fall colours obscured in the background. so there...water!
