a vase of tulips

i had nothing for today in terms of post as i played a lazy sloth due to my migraine really bugging the hell out of me. so this is a desperate shot. when i got these tulips the other day, they were rather short, the flowers just above the rim of the vase. they consume water like there's no tomorrow. if you can believe it, late this afternoon, i filled the vase with water and after just a couple of hours the stems grew taller and the water's just in the middle now.
