this morning i had to go to the church office to pick up a copy of my tax receipt. when i got there, first thing i did was to check out those mystery plants. and whoever guessed they were daffodils, sure you know your daffs. i'm surprised that they just bloomed this past week and the last time i went there was on the 27th. the other plants were just sprouting, although i was quite late for the magnolia which was on its last breath but still beautiful. i'm so glad no deer came around to eat this as the church is near a walking trail. the grounds were being spiffed by a crew of men and i had to scramble as they were getting ready to mow the grass.
