i was at the dairy section of the grocery when i espied this yoghurt in little glass jars. i liked the shape of the little glass jars and the yoghurt itself sounded good, with mango with cardamom at the bottom. i don't know what i would do with the little glass jars but i like them so i bought a package of 4. then i was looking for oatmeal and found cadbury chocolate was on sale, and they had my favourite fruit and nut.
the half good? the chocolate. the half bad? the yoghurt of course! it was so rich and creamy although the mango and cardamom offset the rich taste. lactose intolerant that i am of course i suffered for it after a while. now i don't know what to do with the other 3.

thanks for your excitement over the painting commission. i don't think i am ready to take on something like that. i don't have enough self-confidence, i need a lot of practice. but i really do appreciate the vote of confidence. ♥♥♥
Those yogurts sound divine! so does the chocolate but i have to watch my fat intake these days so I might not be able to have either. I would definitely find an use for those little jars! I love how you have set this one up !
You need to accept the commission! She wouldn't have asked if she didn't think you could deliver! I know you can do it!
I like the composition of this photo. A great half half and evidence that you ate both but not in an unappetizing way.
Love the little jars. I'm sure they will return in another photo somehow!
Well, you can empty the jars in the toilet or sink and keep the jars. I love them too. As for the chocolate, Cadbury is on my list and under our rock we don't find it anywhere.
As for the commission, I would say that you can give it a go. Do not engage, but give it a try. If it turns out well, you show it to your colleague. If not, that's it. Gesso and start all over :D
This all looks delicious! Interesting about the yoghurt.......many lactose intolerant people can manage "live" yoghurts, but not all. If you can't eat it, you could empty the jars and consider the purchase to be the glass jars that you can enjoy finding a use for!
Congrats on the commission. I think your art is definitely worthy. I love what you paint.
Half good and half good, although I don't care for chocolate. I like the little jars and if you're not hung up on being wasteful, I'd just flush that stuff down the toilet. Congratulations on the commission. You are talented so don't overthink it and get all anxious.
If that yogurt came in cherry I'd probably try it but I'm not sure I'd go with cardamom. You know me and chocolate- so of course I'd buy that!! No one says you have to eat the remaining yogurt. I wonder if you could bake it into something and bring it to your co-workers the next time you're at the office. If not, go with the suggestions above and ditch the contents while saving the jars. They are cute!
As for the commission- I like Moni's thought. Try it- if you like the results, sell it. If not, cover it up and try again. You are definitely selling yourself short as far as ability goes!

I think you are a lot more talented than you give yourself credit for young lady.
