today was a yucky day. rain, then mist, then nothing. for about three minutes the sun shone, and then it was rain, mist, more rain and mist. the humidity was something else!
i stayed home mostly and boxed some of my books. but then i got so lazy i just decided instead of having bare shelves, i covered the shelves with cheap shower curtains i bought from the dollar store. i relocated my desk to my spare room having cleared some space for it. i figure, if i'm working there and i get fed up with all the boxes and clutter, it might motivate me to slowly de-clutter, one box at a time. or probably not. 😂
i asked my sister to come over to just 'watch' out for me climbing the chair up and down when taping off the plastic covers. and twice i almost fell. not a young buck anymore, and my vertigo doesn't help.
Smart move to have your sister come to oversee the process! It was still hot and humid here today as well. I was getting the back room ready for Lucy's visit- but thankfully no chairs or stepstools needed to be climbed for that. I like how all the flowers are standing at attention.
