my painting mojo has gone missing for the last few weeks so i had to force myself to get into it with simple exercises like this and using watercolour. the good thing is i'm learning how to paint without any outlines or rough drawings -- just the blank paper canvas, the brush and the watercolours. i am quite pleased with how this turned out. the model image had red tulips with yellowed edges but these deep peach colours are just fine by me. so maybe for the next couple of tuesdays you might see more flowers. either that or a really horrible abstract.
They are gorgeous in color and in Composition! I have never done drawings as part of my painting so I find that an odd concept. It seems to be working well for you!
