I like the way modern swimsuits cover your tum and tops of the thighs! But I don't like the "tummy control" panels. Eugh. Give you heartburn top squish you in like that. Back to the bad days of corsets LOL

@casablanca you are so right, I cut out all those panels as itwas almost impossible to get in the swimsuit.

@jacqbb - in my young days, when my friends and i would go on an excursion to the beach, if it's just a day trip, i would have 2 sets of swimsuits, a one-piece and a two-piece. for overnights or longer, i would have four different kinds. thankfully when i gained weight and got older, i was thankful for the return of those one-piecers with a peplum (outer skirt). now i can't swim, i seem to just sink down to the bottom of the pool or the sea. i would never attempt to swim in a lake or fresh water.
