it was very foggy last saturday when we were at the apple farm. as i wasn't picking apples myself (i bought a 3-litre basket of royal gala apples off the farm's counter, why pick when you don't have to) i just strolled around the orchard for possible photos for the three 52 challenges i'm foolish enough to undertake. like for example, this week's peter forsgard 52 assignments call for an outdoor macro. i was feeling sorry for this creature, as i am of anything caught in webs like this, but i don't think i have ever shot a dewy spider web and this was perfect for the assignment.
whilst taking this, one of the farm hands told me not to get too close to the wire fencing or lean on it as it is an electric fence, apparently to prevent the deer from getting into the trees which were rather low - they were macintosh and honey crisp varieties.
@delboy207 - 🤣i only have a nikon D5300 and a canon 80D, plus the mirrorless olympus. when i go on trips outside of the city, i like to use my nikon because it is much lighter on the shoulder than the canon which is mounted on a tripod for at-home shots. both of them have a tamron18-200mm lens which is heavy and adds more weight to the canon.
How wi you keep 3 litres of apples fresh??
