a shot of one of the shops at the eaton centre from last sunday when i went to pick up an order downtown. i forgot which shop this was but i was so taken by these mannequins with askewed aviator sunglasses. they look like aliens, non? hopefully the display would still be there the next time i go there as i would like to have a photo of me posing in front of this display with my turtle neck sweater and aviator sunglasses. there were too many people to get a self portrait and i'm not too keen on asking total strangers to take my photo.
i tried to clone out most of the reflections on the clothes. the colours are earth tones and i really like the dress on the right but at $100 plus i'll wait to see if something similar would turn out at tjmaxx or marshalls.
Fun idea to catch yourself with them, but not easy in crowds. I love this quirky image, made me smile with those skewed glasses. Definitely aliens pretending they are human and trying to fit in!
I guess it’s artsy or making a statement but those sunglasses give more of an air of sloppy workmanship than anything to me. It is an interesting subject, though and you did a marvelous job of cloning out reflections
