you will remember this from last summer, when my sister and i took a bus trip to a sunflower field. i think that this is a perfect example of the 'found object' genre, only the owner of the farm placed this vanity set in the middle of the sunflower field. but "i" found it so it qualifies for this week's found object challenge.
i think in both the coloured version and this black and white, the vanity shows quite well, although more in this version than in the coloured one where it competes with the riot of colours of the flowers.
today, the first mr. summerfield would've been 91. fitting that this morning, i had a hazy dream with him in it. funny that i mostly remember what my dreams are but this morning was an exception, although i do remember parts that don't make sense. i hope it's not a precursor that i am going to meet him soon. although i'm ready anytime, it would be a pity as i still have a lot of paintings to do, photographs to take, stories to write, and wonderful people to meet in person.
You need to stick around. I’m glad you’re taking good care of yourself. I loved this in color. It works here in B&W also. The selfie in the mirror puts the icing on the cake.
