jonquil, daffodil, narcissus, junco - whatever name you call this flower. for me though, for some reason, i've always called the yellow ones daffodils, and the white with peach or orange centre jonquille. probably at various times i've seen photos of them they were labelled as such and so that got stuck in my mind. the one time that my mind isn't stuck in the gutter, that is.
for june i will try to catch up with the 52 captures challenge as i think i am behind at least 5 or 6 challenges. tarnation! but i have a different thing in mind for june, like looking into the archived photos and use them for the month.
we reached 33 here today in the east of toronto. i was going to go for my walk but it was already hot in the early morning and then i got lazy in the afternoon to do anything, except i re-intalled my AC unit. i must be so tired as i slept from 2 to 5:30. it's going to be a really hot summer, it's being predicted.
now that sounds too hot for me! I too am behind by at least four weeks in the 52 weeks project so will be aiming to catch up this month too! Will follow your progress with interest.
