with just a hint of red if you can find it along with the heart that's hiding, in plain sight, mind.
i discovered that i could do neil driver emulations for the whole week but i'm not going to do that. instead, i'm tagging this for last week's 52 captures challenge of making an ordinary object look extraordinary. the shells look rather mundane unless you do a macro of each.
we had a real fire in the building this afternoon. at first i thought i left the stove again. then as the smell of smoke gradually became intense, stupid me, as if i'm not trained for things like fire, i opened my door to check out if the hallway was smelling of smoke, too. didn't just smell of smoke, there was a light haze. i shut the door quickly, turned on the tap in the bathtub and filled my bucket with water and pulled out my grossly large towels just in case i'd have a need for them. i considered going down, too, but that would've been risky if the fire was in one of the lower floors. i just changed to my walking outfit, put on my heavy winter coat, slung my purse with all IDs and money and credit card and stationed myself in the balcony to watch the proceedings below: eight fire trucks and plenty of idiotic car drivers blocking the way of the fire trucks.
what drama you depict. must have been scary but clearly you remained calm and logical. Glad it got sorted without further ado and you could go back to some lateral thinking in your photography. Found both heart and the red thanks to your drawing attention to them with the selective colour.
I found both the vial and heart.
Didn't the alarm go off? Memories of all those false alarms. Don't let them fool you. Glad you're safe and sound to tell the story.
Whew! Glad the fire was not worse. I admire your cool head in that situation.
Lovely little bit of red here. I love shells of all kinds so naturally this appeals greatly to me. I might have missed the heart had you not mentioned it.
