the field of empty chairs, representing the 168 people, including 19 children, is reflected in the memorial's reflecting pool. on the very far left is the Survivors' Wall. "the only remaining original portions of the Murrah Building are the north and east walls, known as the Survivors' Wall. The wall has several panels of granite salvaged from the Murrah Building itself, inscribed with the names of more than 600 survivors from the building and the surrounding area, many of whom were injured in the blast." - wikipedia
this was my submission for this week's 'water' challenge over at 52 frames.
i really like the way i have set up this shot, especially that the reflection of the empty chairs was also visible. the water in the reflecting pool of the memorial flows continuously, but looked so still that one can see one's reflection.
