my friend monique nadeau @moniquenadeau and i have this idea about us collaborating on a project where she would write a story and i'll come up with a photo to match it, or i would present her a photograph and she would write the story. but instead of putting this project on facebook, i thought i'd do a few test entries here.
she wrote the story today and told me about it; this came to mind - a photo which i took two wednesdays ago on my way to meet bill fenske when he came to toronto.
the title of the story is "wing man" and you can read the story here
you may leave your comments here or on her blog.
monique is finishing up the final draft of her first novel "madison's avenue".
Yikes. ( I read the story.) I think it's harder to take a picture for a story than to write a story for a picture. This fabulous picture is now totally ominous and full of dread.
Perfect illustration for the story! ( except for the lack of yoga pants ) sounds like a really exciting challenge for the two of you! I had been wondering where Monique was as she hasn't posted any pictures in a while. Good luck to her on the completion of her book. I'm excited to see what else you come up with!
You are all so kind! I know I have been more than delinquent in posting on my own 365 site, but I am focused on finishing"Madison's Avenue". Not to mention, I am beyond excited to work with Summerfield. Who wouldn't?
