Primula by sunnygreenwood

Primula

The primulas in our garden are tiny plants and are among the very first to bloom in the spring. The buds on the edge of the plant are the first to open, leading in part to this lopsided pic! Each bloom is about the size of a small thumbnail. I'm not totally pleased with this pic from a composition point of view but I couldn't decide between the bloom or the buds so compromised with both!
Great dof and detail!

Excellent clarity and depth of field. Nice contrast (not in the technical way - you know what I mean).

@buccigrossi @maggie2 @dianezelia @luvshorses @cmuir1963 @hillcrest @timandelke @skot Wow, thanks so much for all your kind words. I deliberated a long time over yesterday's pic --- I took lots and wasn't totally happy with any of them. One of those days!
