This young deer was just a few hundred yards down the road from our home. She was on the edge of a little marshy area, hence the cat tails throughout the frame. After almost 2 years of use, the zoom on my little p&s Nikon still impresses me --- if you zoom in, you can see eyelashes and whiskers! It looks like there's still remnants of her baby spots. So cute, when im up at my grandparents place, we feed the dear there. We put out a big pan of corn and sometimes 13 to 14 come up to eat, and after they finish the corn they lick all the bird seed out of the bird feeders.
