Our humble toad abode actually had a toad in it the first time I checked it, so it doesn't get checked very often anymore, so that they don't get scared away. They're my best bug control. This year, I need one for each garden!
A hiding place for toads! Great idea! I've heard of some who have put out those little walkway lights (that come on at night with solar panels on top) to attract insects which then get devoured by frogs.
